Leg 2 - Tour Diary

The second leg of our took us to Norwich. We have played there a few times, the first was an acoustic "tour" put on by Jugs, where we played songs outside pubs with Sam Russo, collecting people as we went until we had played 5 or 6 places and gathered quite a crowd. We played our last songs on the stairs of a bank and by this time we were drunk, hoarse and completely happy. It was an awesome night and since then Norwich, Jugs and everyone we met has held a special place in this bands heart. We played the Marquee with Bomb The Music Industry last year and so I was really excited to come back and play, this time with Mike TV. Mike Scott played as well and it was the first time we had seen him plugged in. Mike is such an interesting artist and he really killed it tonight. The crowd was thin the whole night but it seemed to fill up a bit for Mike and us which was good.

The Peterborough show was put in by Jordy - if you haven't met him yet you are in for a treat, the guy is a legend. The show was predominantly hardcore - Attack Vipers and Beasts were the co-headline and it was packed. A free show on a Friday makes a lot of sense and it was awesome fun.

We headed to Kierans house very late for sleep and then a killer breakfast before driving to Manchester for the all-day event put on by "Last Lung". The whole day was just awesome and totally packed. It was a tight schedule and we had to have a 2 hour break for the football which was a rule imposed by the venue (which incidentally was almost completely full of people who were there to see a punk show). We left for home before the end because Josh was starting to become completely monochrome but we stuck around to see the Arteries who just smashed it.
Another tour ends and its back to work again. I've been back a week now and I literally cannot wait to get back "on the road" (kill me for saying that). Thanks to everyone that came to see us, bought our CD and sang along. Extra thanks to everyone that put us on and put us up. This sort of thing just cannot happen without people being willing to take almost strangers into their hearts and homes and putting their time and money into it. You keep this rolling - thank you.
